Raising our children in the training and instruction of the Lord will be a priority at Gatherings, so that our next generations will be strong in The Lord, His Word, and know the joy of living a fruitful and godly life.

Each Home Church will craft what happens with their children during the worship service. While we encourage Home Churches to include children in all parts of the service, they may choose to dismiss them during the time of study in God’s Word. At this time, an adult pair can take the children to play and have a lesson based on the Scripture that the adults are studying to facilitate parent-child discussions during the week.

If there is additional time they can engage in crafts or games. The children should rejoin the adults after their time of study.

Curriculum and crafts will be provided by Gatherings, as well as guidelines for the children’s time together. Additionally, each parent will receive a devotional that they can use at home during the week with their children to go deeper into their lesson.

Occasional Church-wide fun/family events will be planned for all Gatherings Home Church children to participate in.
